I know that anti biotics will kill a bacterial infection, but, what can one take to kill a viral infection, or, at least lessen the duration of it?

olive leaf extract, oil of oregano, lemon balm, cat’s claw, coconut oil, Pau d’arco tea, grapefruit seed extract.

I’m trying to lose fat gain muscle (no surprise with those goals I hope). Can anyone here recommend any Supplements that I could get at a grocery store or something (I’m not looking for some obscure potion) that can assist me with my new diet and exercise routine? Anything that has worked for you? I am completly clueless of all things diet/fitness related by the way so if something seems too obvious to mention, please mention it anyway. Thanks.

Co-Enzyme Q10, helps the metabolic efficiency of anybody. Dosage is age related tho.
You don’t mention your age so there isn’t much more I can tell you.

On my arms and my legs, I have places where I have very dry skin and I was wondering if anyone knew what skin care lotion product is best for your skin that you can get a supermart or drug store? I want brands of lotion please!

If you buy a product make sure it doesn’t have mineral oil as that forms a barrier with your skin and since skin is a respiratory organ it needs to breath. For skin to retain moisture and not be dry it need to be able to absorb the moisture and retain it. I find it best to apply a good moisturizing cream immediately after I shower as this helps the skin to retain the moisture after being wet. Make sure the product you buy has the same PH balance as our skin which is PH5.5 as this helps the natural balance of our skin, and will help to reduce irritation and dryness.

Arbonne have some wonderful botanical products that combat dryness my son has terrible dry skin and feet and their product have had amazing results. However you need to have a consultant to purchase any products on-line.

Check out www.Arbonne.com if you need help purchasing click on consultants Linda Sackett and send me a message I’ll be happy to help you.

Looking for an overall delicous cookie that would be a great addition to a cookie exchange. My coworkers plan to swap cookies the next week and I would like a unique and scrumptious cookie to contribute. Personally… I like chocolate.. caramel… nuts… mint… whatever!! Thanks in advance!

Here is one for you with chocolate, caramel and nuts. Some people put york peppermint patties in instead of rollos(or other caramel candy), so there ya go!

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
powder
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon white sugar
48 chocolate-covered caramel
candies

DIRECTIONS:
1. Beat butter until creamy. Gradually beat in white sugar and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and cocoa. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in 1/2 cup walnuts. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
3. Combine remaining 1/2 cup nuts with the 1 tablespoon sugar. Divide the dough into 4 parts. Work with one part at a time, leaving the remainder in the refrigerator until needed. Divide each part into 12 pieces. Quickly press each piece of dough around a chocolate covered caramel. Roll into a ball. Dip the tops into the sugar mixture. Place sugar side up, 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.
4. Bake for 8 minutes in the preheated oven. Let cool for 3 to 4 minutes on the baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

The general rule of thumb with things like this, is that if you even need to ask if it could be a hoax – Its a Hoax! :-)

Follow that rule and you won’t get caught out!

For me I express myself through fashion. I buy clothes that are gonna make me feel good. I esp like to wear clothes that will make me unique or feel more like an individual cuz if I buy it in the city, well, how many peeps where I live are gonna have the same clothes as me ?

I also like to dance. My last ballroom dance lesson is next wk. :( Then it’ll prob start again in Mid or late Nov. I’m also thinking of taking hip hop lessons (H) Those lessons cost $ tho :( $40 for June. Or $80 for winter or spring. Thinking bout it anywayz…even tho I can’t really afford to. I wanna finish paying off my comp bill right away. Got tons of things to save up for. :( I may even just go & drop in one day. To drop in it costs $5. Not bad (H)

How bout the rest of you ?
Where are all the musicians ???
I also like to listen to music which reflects what kind of mood I’m in. If I’m tired & just wanna go to sleep or something I’ll put some soft music on. Sometimes I might be in the mood for 80’s music. Sometimes it’s R&B. So yeah, depends on my mood :)

My art..each art that i draw is always different..in mood, texture and design. However because it requires a lot of time and concertration, i paint less and less now…
