Besides the obvious,turkey roll ups, omelets, and peanut butter and celery. What are some really good ones I can make?
Julienne Beef Garden Salad
6 servings
½ head lettuce
1 lb. Sliced roast beef
1 pkg fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 c. thinly sliced celery
1 cucumber, sliced
½ c. halved, pitted ripe olives
12 cherry tomatoes, halved
Cut beef into strips. Combine lettuce, meat, mushrooms, celery, cucumber, olives, and onion, toss. Chill, add tomatoes just before serving. Serve with favorite dressing.
Chicken Piccata
serves 4
4 boneless, skinless, chicken breast
2 tsp. Flour
2 T. + 2 tsp. Butter
3 ½ T. Water
2 tsp. Lemon juice
Melt half the butter and saute chicken, transfer to a platter and keep warm. Stir in water to degalze skillet. Bring to a boil. Stir in lemon juice and remaining butter, stir until butter is melted. Pour over chicken.( this is 1.2 g carbohydrates )
Chinese Braised Crock Pot Chicken
Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet
1 c. chopped onion
1 whole chicken, skin removed
1 c. water
½ c soy sauce
2 T. Fresh ground ginger
1 clove garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Cut chicken up (if desired). Put everything in the crock pot, cook on low until done, about 6 hours. Use with Chinese Relish.

Chinese Relish
1 c. chopped onion1 T. Rice wine vinegar
1/3 c. chopped cilantrosalt and pepper to taste
1 T. Fresh ginger, choppedtoasted sesame seeds
½ tsp. Sesame oil
Mix all together except seeds. Sprinkle seeds on top for show.

Here´s one I made last night using pork chops-
Pork Steak / Beef Steak Filipino Style Recipe
Estimated time to prepare and cook: 50 minutes
Ingredients:
3/4 kilo tender pork or beef steaks, sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
5 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cloves of garlic
1 small piece ginger, crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup onions, sliced in rings
4 tablespoons cooking oil
Pork / Beef Steak Cooking Instructions:
Marinate the pork or beef steak in lemon juice, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and pepper for 30 minutes.
In a frying, add cooking oil. Add the marinated pork or beef steak and cook slow until done.
Increase heat for a minute or two to brown steaks.
Add the sliced onions and continue to cook for another minute.
Serve on a platter including the oil and sauce.
I had a cucumber and onion salad drenched in vinegar salad with this-yuuuuuummmmmmmmy.
