Some herbs that are nerve specific...can be taken as capsules or tinctures (liquid extracts)

In order of most effective...but all are great
St. Johns wort for overall nerves and nerve repair
Wild oats (Avena sativa or Avena fatua) nourishes nerves
Holy Basil (Tulsi) nourishes nerves

It may be effective to get a St. Johns Wort oil and apply it topically, as well. It is not an essential oil but an infused oil of the plant...usually in an olive oil or almond oil base. If the oil has a red color that's even better as it means the oil was infused with the fresh plant providing more medicinal properties. (Although the flowers of the plant are yellow the liquid in them is blood red) It's a safe oil for that area of the body. There are several brands on the market that can be found at health food stores
References :
In general oils are good for nerve function - fish oil (omega 3), primrose oil and vitamin 3.
As a chiropractor, the position of the pelvis, especially after a childbirth, can have a huge affect on the pudendal nerves including to sexual organs.
Visit a chiropractor you can find through a major insurance (blue cross/shield/kaiser, etc.) they work with approved guidelines and are very well screened!
Best luck.
