I am a firm believer in abstinence, and although I’ve been mocked by some people who are immature, most of my friends respect my decision. Some even decided to abstain themselves. I lie and go along with everyone else too. It is hard lying to your own friends and the people around you being the person you really arent. I plan on coming out to my friends after highschool just to avoid the drama I would have if I came out now. I only have a year to go, and I think I can pull it off. I listen to Lady Gaga, and she makes me feel a lot better. Just because her music is mainstream doesn’t mean her songs don’t have meaning. Her songs have a lot of meaning. Listen to her music if you haven’t already, and trust me, it will make you feel a lot better about yourself. Lady Gaga is such an idol for me, she believes in equality and freedom; she expresses that through her art.
