Hi. I’m taking a class and having a very hard time focusing.
Yesterday I used this essential oil mixture called Clarity. It contains, lemon, rosemary and jasmine absolute. Though it is not listed on the label I can smell eucalyptus and peppermint also.
It worked very well but….
I was up most of the night. I was very restless and unable to keep still for long. Lots of tossing and turning.
So much for concentrating today huh? :)
My question is…
How long should the reaction to these oils last?
I used a mini humidifier and had it misting for most of the day and then again for about 3 hours in the evening, for a total of aprox. 10 hours.
Needless to say I’ll only use this product while I’m studying from now on. I’d like to know if this reaction was normal though.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

the aromatherapy oils you are using were the right ones for study time – I would probably counter it by clearing the air and using lavender and chamomile in the evening. Your reaction was normal – you were exposed to the scent for too long it seems.
