Hi. I’m taking a class and having a very hard time focusing.
Yesterday I used this essential oil mixture called Clarity. It contains, lemon, rosemary and jasmine absolute. Though it is not listed on the label I can smell eucalyptus and peppermint also.
It worked very well but….
I was up most of the night. I was very restless and unable to keep still for long. Lots of tossing and turning.
So much for concentrating today huh? :)
My question is…
How long should the reaction to these oils last?
I used a mini humidifier and had it misting for most of the day and then again for about 3 hours in the evening, for a total of aprox. 10 hours.
Needless to say I’ll only use this product while I’m studying from now on. I’d like to know if this reaction was normal though.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

The length of effective time and reaction varies for everyone. You obviously have found an extremely effective blend for yourself. Although, you can’t be certain that your mental state or other unknown factor didn’t contribute to your lack of sleep. Personally, I like to place 1-2 drops in the crook of my elbow a few times per day. This puts it directly into your body instead of though out your room. You may have overdone it a bit.
