I would suggest making some easy chili recipes. I always double the recipe then freeze the leftovers in the correct portion size. Then I have 2 - 3 dinners or more in the freezer for a future meal.

Chili is also very healthy.

This site has a section of some very easy and quick chili recipes. It might take a bit longer than 20 minutes to cook but if you freeze leftovers it pays off in the end.

Good luck and enjoy
References :
http://www.chili-everyway.com/index.html

Your best friend will probably turn out to be your crock pot. And if you don't have one it is a very good Investment. This way you can just throw some stuff in a pot in the morning and when you come home dinner is already done!! Minimal prep work is usually required. There are a lot of websites FILLED with crock pot recipes.
References :
Steak Sandwich with Garlic Toast - Just use the little minute steaks they sell in the meat dept. and fry it up in a pan with a can of sliced mushrooms (drained) and a little butter. You can toast some frozen garlic bread in a little toaster oven or make your own by buttering one side of a thick slice of sour dough bread and sprinkling it with garlic salt. Serve it up with a green garden salad.

Quick Shrimp Scampi

Prep Time: :10
Cook Time: :10

1 lb. frozen fully cooked shrimp
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, minced
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. honey dijon salad dressing
1 cup frozen baby peas, not thawed
3 cups hot cooked rice

Thaw shrimp according to package directions, and remove tails if necessary. Drain well and set aside. In large saucepan combine butter and olive oil and heat until foaming. Add garlic and onion and saute, stirring frequently, until crisp tender. Add shrimp and stir well. Cover and simmer for 1-2 minutes until shrimp are thoroughly heated.

Remove cover and add lemon juice, salad dressing, and peas. Cook and stir until everything is heated and blended. Serve over rice. Serves 4
References :
Its really hard sometimes 2 have a fast paced life because u are so easily tempted 2 get the easy option ie. McDonalds

Try 2 min stake with a really fresh salad or just boil some gnocci and make a really easy butter and sage sauce.

This website i highly reccomend as its saved me from some near disasters!!! Its Australian though so u may need to change the conversions.

In the search bar just type "easy" or "cheats" and all recipes with those in the title will pop up

Good Luck!!!

What are some quick easy dinner recipes?
My life has always been fast-paced and I've lived the unhealthy TV dinner/fast food type of lifestyle for a while now. Recently, life has slowed down a bit and I'm looking for some easy 20 minutes or less dinner recipes. I'm not much of a cook, but I can handle the basics. Any ideas?
