I’m looking to try out something similar to a velocity diet or metabolic diet. Over the past few days I’ve reading about weight loss and have come up with a plan for myself. I would like for some of you to give me some feedback.
Height: 6′1 and change
Weight(last known):200lbs
Things I consume throughout the day:
Liquid Vitamin, Protein shakes, liquid fiber, frozen chicken patty, frozen chicken fried steak patty, universal animal pak cuts. Now, if I eat that everyday, with 3 protein shakes a day I come out with these totals:
Calories:1315 Carbs:72g Fat:45g Protein:162g

I do cardio every day whether its running or on a bike or both, also I lift weights everyday. One thing I can already see that could be wrong with my current diet is the low calories and the slightly high amount of carbs.

Yeah, your calories should be higher, and your carbs should be lower. I know you’re trying to find a velocity or metabolic way but it can only be one way.

Be sure to eat 5-6 meals a day, protein in each meal if possible. Also I would go for fresh foods rather than frozen foods. Just my choice.

So far it seems decent, see how it works out. Be aware that if you have low protein and low calories, but you’re doing a lot of cardio, you may be losing fat, but you are also losing muscle. Lift weights then do cardio at the end. Work one or two muscle groups per day. 5 days a week, 2 days off.
Good luck.
