I understand it is currently &quot;cool&quot; and &quot;sexy&quot; to go with low carb/Paleo type of eating, but it is based on bullshit and is adopted by people who need to justify their addiction to meat.

I have lost 52 lbs. on Atkins (which is not high protein, it&#039;s high fat, moderate protein, and low carb) and EVERY one of my health markers has improved.  My cholesterol did not go down a little, it went down 100 points. (from 280 to 180)  my triglyc. = down, LDL = down, HDL = up, glucose = down,  insulin = down, and lastly ALL inflammation markers = down.  Did I mention I lost 52 lbs?</description>
